LinuxWorld UK: Day 1Members of Team Mambo rolled into London this week to appear that the LinuxWorld UK show. Nalisa and Neil from Core Dev are here and so am I (Ric). The show is being held at Olympia 2 off Hammersmith. It's a fair-sized show with booths manned by all the big names -- RedHat, Debian, Novell and many others. The Open Source Content Management crowd is also putting in a good showing with booths from Drupal, Joomla and of course, Mambo.

![]() getting closer... Our booth position is good -- we're right next to the conferences so everyone in and out of the conferences parades past us. It's a bit of a captive audience and paying off well. Our signage is strong and we got a lot of traffic today from developers. Some good feedback today on several usability issues and some very positive comments from people who had not seen the system in a while.
![]() one-on-one Neil's experience with Mambo in the public sector went a long ways today. Seemed like many of our visitors were in government and education. Neil's discussion of managing hundreds of admin users and thousands of links within Mambo got their attention.
![]() the Team in action We'll be back with another update tomorrow... |
