Software Freeedom Day

On 20th September Mambo is joining over 500 teams in over 90 countries all around the world, all celebrating SFD and taking software freedom to the masses!

Software Freedom Day events are fun and a great opportunity to learn more about open source software. Why not have a look to see if there is an event near you on Saturday and go along to join the fun: http://softwarefreedomday.org/. Events often include "installathons" (showing you how to install FOSS applications), hackathons, and more...

For those in New Zealand, here is a list of the events that have been organised: http://nzoss.org.nz/news/2008/sofwarefreedomday-events

vavroom and Elpie will be in Wellington so if you have questions about Mambo, or have an issue with your site, grab your laptop and come along for some one-on-one assistance.

If any of you do attend a SFD event, take some photos and send them to us to include here.
