Two Important Extension Releases

Team Mambo today released a new version of the Mambot for the popular MOStlyCE WYSIWYG Editor and an installable DOMIT package for developers.

MOStlyCE

The new MOStlyCE Mambot is a pure TinyMCE components update. Here is the changelog for the TinyMCE release. They have been doing some great work latest so we encourage everyone to upgrade -- particularly if it's been a while since you last updated this component.

The steps for the upgrade are explained in this post on the Forums: http://forum.mambo-foundation.org/showthread.php?p=16399#post16399

DOMIT

Several versions ago Team Mambo excised DOMIT from the Mambo Core. The decision was made to both decrease bloat of the Mambo Core (keep the distro size down) and to improve performance. The move achieved both goals, but in the process it also disadvantaged some 3PDs who relied on DOMIT to provide functionality in their extensions.

In response to requests from a number of developers, we have created a DOMIT extension package which can be installed via Mambo's Universal Installer. If you wish to add DOMIT to your site, simply download and install the package.

Both packages are available for download from the Mambo Project on SourceForge
